MGM's 'Poltergeist' remake is being lined up for a September shoot in Toronto and casting has already kicked off. Along with the announcement comes the first look at just some of the finer plot details from the project. The Freeling family become the Bowens, where the father Eric has lost his job and has relocated to a new town. His wife Amy can communicate with the dead and when their daughter goes missing they call in a TV celebrity, Carrigan Burke, who hosts 'Haunted House Cleaners' and his parapsychologist ex-wife Dr. Brooke Powell to investigate.
